The Parliament expands the legal framework to fight corruption, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman said in his Friday interview for the Rada TV Channel.

Groysman said the Parliament was expanding and improving the legal framework in the field of combating corruption. He informed about the adoption of the draft laws on the establishment of the State Bureau of Investigation and the National Agency for Proceeds of Corruption. He also reminded that the National Anticorruption Bureau was starting its work.

"Day after day, month after month we will see practical results of combating of corruption. The task of the Parliament is to adopt the laws facilitating the operation of those agencies," Groysman said.

He also said the deregulation, decentralization and openness of "all aspects of property and financial status of officials" would also facilitate fighting corruption.

Groysman expressed confidence that corruption can easily be combated in Ukraine. "Results will surely be seen, I sincerely believe in it," he said.
